जानकी पुल – A Bridge of World's Literature. जानकी पुल पर प्रकाशित लेखों में प्रकट विचार लेखक के होते हैं. उनसे मॉडरेटर का सहमत होना जरूरी नहीं है. हाँ, अपने लेखों में प्रकट विचारों के लिए मॉडरेटर खुद जिम्मेदार है
बिना कुछ अधिक बताए, किसी दावे के ‘कविता के साथ’ अपने नियमित आयोजन के पहली वर्षगांठ के करीब पहुँच गई है. ८ फरवरी की शाम युवा कवि सुधांशु फिरदौस, ‘भारतभूषण’ कवि गिरिराज किराडू और असद जैदी को सुनते हुए यह ख़याल बार-बार आता रहा कि शायद यह अकेला आयोजन है कविता का जिसके आयोजकों में सभी कविता लिखते हैं, लेकिन अपने कवि रूप को लेकर सभी कुछ संकोच में रहते हैं. सत्यानन्द निरुपम तो बहुत अच्छी कविताएँ लिखते हैं- जानकी पुल पर बड़ी मुश्किल से उनकी कुछ कविताएँ आ चुकी हैं. कविता की गहरी समझ और पैनी नजर रखने वाले आशुतोष कुमार के बारे में भी मुझे धीरे-धीरे यह बात समझ में आई कि वह कविता में हाथ आजमाते ही नहीं हैं बल्कि कवि़ता में उनका हाथ अच्छी तरह सधा हुआ है. पिछले दिनों फेसबुक पर उन्होंने कविताओं की पंक्तियाँ लगानी शुरु की तो मुझे संदेह हुआ कि वे बिना क्रेडिट दिए किसी और की कविताएँ लगाए जा रहे हैं. क्योंकि उनके कविता के गहरे पाठक होने को लेकर मन में कभी संशय नहीं रहा. बाद में समझ में आया कि वे दरअसल उनकी अपनी कविताएँ हैं. वे अपनी कविता को लेकर निरपेक्ष रहते हैं. मेरी बात थोड़ी अलग है. कविता में हाथ बहुत आजमाया. एक बार एक महाकवि ने उनको पढकर यह कहते हुए वापस कर दीं कि तुम्हारी भाषा बहुत अच्छी है. दिल टूट गया. बहुत दिनों तक कविता की तरफ मुँह नहीं किया. बाद में लिखी तो कुछ कवि-मित्रों ने बड़ी तारीफ़ की, चने की झाड़ पर बिठाने की कोशिश की. लेकिन अपन मोह में नहीं आए. फिर कविता से मुँह मोड़ लिया. अब मैं पक्का कथाकार हूं. कोई माने या न माने. कवि सब हैं लेकिन कवि कहाने की महत्वाकांक्षा किसी में नहीं. अपने गुरु मनोहर श्याम जोशी की बात बार-बार याद आती है कि बिना किसी महत्वाकांक्षा के बड़ा लेखन संभव नहीं. यह बात मैं इसलिए लिख रहा हूं क्योंकि कविता आयोजन आच्छादित इस हिंदी समय में इस तरह का अकेला आयोजन है जिसके फोकस में कविता है लेकिन जिसके आयोजक अपनी कविताओं को लेकर कुछ खास उत्साही नहीं दिखते.
हालांकि कवि के साथ के अलग होने का केवल यही कारण नहीं हो सकता. अलग-अलग पीढ़ियों, मुहावरों, राजनीति के टीन कवियों को एक साथ सुनना कविता के विविध अंतरालों को समझने का एक अवसर होता है. सत्यानन्द निरुपम के शब्दों में हर बार एक नए स्वर का कवि ढूंड निकालकर उसे विशिष्ट बना देते हैं. केवल क्रेडिट लेने के लिए नहीं. आखिर ‘कवि के साथ’ ने कभी इस बात का क्रेडिट लेने की कोशिश की कि युवा कवि अनुज लुगुन दिल्ली में पहली बार ‘कवि के साथ’ के मंच पर ही कविता पाठ करने आए और उसके कुछ दिनों बाद उनको भारतभूषण अग्रवाल पुरस्कार मिला. आगे बढ़-बढ़ कर क्रेडिट लेना, बढ़-चढ़कर आयोजना की तारीफ़ छपवाना, फेसबुक पर तस्वीरें लगाना- ‘कवि के साथ’ इन सभी आडम्बरों से दूर नहीं तो ‘लो प्रोफाइल’ में करता आया है.
यह ‘हाई प्रोफाइल’ का दौर है. तत्काल सिद्धि, तुरंत प्रसिद्धि. यह उद्देश्य ही नहीं है हमारा. कविता का एक ऐसा माहौल बने जहां बात ‘वाह!वाह! से आगे बढ़े, कुछ बात चले, कविता को लेकर हिंदी में सही सन्दर्भ बिंदु बनें. लोकप्रियता के पैमानों से हटकर कुछ मानीखेज बातें हों. आखिर कम से कम हिंदी में साहित्य लोकप्रियता के लिए नहीं लिखा जाता. साहित्य में विशेषकर कविता को लेकर वह बौद्धिक स्पेस निरंतर संकीर्ण होता जा रहा है. उसको लेकर कुछ बहसें हों, खुले ढंग से हों. ‘कवि के साथ’ की इसी में सार्थकता है और शायद यही उसकी सफलता भी.
कल भी जिस तरह से असद जैदी ने अपनी सबसे नई कविताएँ सुनाई, गिरिराज किराडू ने अपनी प्रयोगशील कविताएँ सुनाई उससे भी इस बात की ताकीद होती है कि ‘कवि के साथ’ का बौद्धिक माहौल कहीं न कहीं कवियों को प्रेरित करता है कि वे सिर्फ तालियाँ बजवाने के लिए कविताएँ न सुनाएँ बल्कि एक गंभीर मंच पर अपनी कविताओं को परखें भी. ‘कवि के साथ’ वह मंच बनता गया है. अलग-अलग काट के कवियों के प्रयोग का मंच. किसको इसका सहभागी होने पर गर्व नहीं होगा.
बहरहाल, यह एक साल की उपलब्धियां गिनाने का वक्त नहीं है अगले एक साल में इसे और बेहतर मंच बनाने का संकल्प लेने का अवसर है. सत्यानन्द निरुपम की कल्पनाशीलता, आशुतोष कुमार की आयोजनधर्मिता को देखते हुए कहीं से इस बात का संदेह भी नहीं होता कि यह आयोजन और बेहतर नहीं होता जायेगा. सादगी और गरिमा के इस आयोजन से जुड़ना, उसका हिस्सा होना मेरे लिए भी एक बड़ी बात है.

'जिन्हें सुख मिला है याद से, मेरे कबीले के नहीं होंगे' तथा 'तुम्हारे हाथ में घड़ी बंधी है, वक़्त नहीं' जैसी बेशकीमती पंक्तियाँ सुनाईं गिरिराज ने। 'दुर्घटना दरअसल योजना थी' जैसी बात कहकर असद जैदी जी ने भी खूबसूरत एहतराम कराया अपनी कविताई का। मजा आ गया। आयोजन के लिए बधाई।
दूरी अधिक होने के कारण आ नहीं सका मगर नेट पर मैंने खूब मजा लिया..
