‘लप्रेक’ एक नई कथा परम्परा की शुरुआत है. लेकिन हर नई शुरुआत को अपनी परम्परा के साथ टकराना पड़ता है, उनके सवालों का सामना करना पड़ता है. आज ‘लप्रेक’ के बहाने हिंदी परम्परा को लेकर कुछ बहासतलब सवाल उठाये हैं हिंदी के प्रतिष्ठित लेखक भगवानदास मोरवाल ने, जिनके उपन्यास ‘नरक मसीहा’ की आजकल बहुत चर्चा है- मॉडरेटर

‘लप्रेक’ आज जैसे ही प्रभात रंजन का ‘जानकीपुल‘ खोला, तो एक बार फिर इस शब्द से सामना हुआ. जबसे इस शब्द से पाला पड़ा है अनेक कूढ़मगज हिंदी के लेखकों की तरह मैं भी इसका अर्थ खोजना लगा हूँl एक बार सोचा कि यह बिहार से आयातित शब्द होगाl फिर सोचा कि हो सकता है यह कोई स्पेनिश, जर्मन, फ्रांस,पुर्तगाल आदि जैसे किसी मुल्क की भाषा से उड़ाया गया होl एक बार अनुमान लगाया कि यह लघु प्रेम कविता भी हो सकता हैl
अंतत:मेरे एक निजी शब्दकोश ने मेरी यह समस्या हल कर दी कि इसका अर्थ वह नहीं है जैसा मैं समझ रहा हूँl दरअसल ‘लप्रेक‘ का अर्थ है ‘लघु प्रेम कथा‘l इसके बाद मैंने अपने कुछ निजी स्रोतों से इसकी अंतर्कथा पता की और जो पता चला उसे मैं आपसे भी साझा कर रहा हूँl इधर सुना है हिंदी प्रकाशन जगत में एक युगांतकारी क्रांति होने जा रही है l अभी तक हमने फेसबुकिया कविताओं के बारे में सुना था, पर अब सुनने में आ रहा है कि ज़ल्द ही कोई फेसबुक फिक्शन शृंखला नामक सपना साकार होने वाला हैl वास्तव में फेसबुक फिक्शन शृंखला नामक इस योजना का ही नाम ‘लप्रेक‘ हैl पिछले कुछ दिनों से जिस तरह इस योजना का प्रचार और प्रसार किया जा रहा है, और इसके नेपथ्य से जो बातें छन-छन कर आ रही हैं, वे बेहद रोमांच पैदा करने वाली हैंl मसलन, पहली तो यही कि हिंदी के बहुत से मुझ जैसे प्रेमचंदीय जो लेखक इस ‘लप्रेक‘ शब्द के असली अर्थ और परिभाषा को जानने के लिए हलकान हुए जा रहे थे, जब इसका अर्थ पता चला तो मेरी हालत सचमुच घायल की गति घायल जाने जैसी हो गईl
‘लप्रेक‘ अर्थात लघु प्रेम कथा यानी ऐसी प्रेमकथाएं जो सिर्फ और सिर्फ फेसबुक पर लिखी गई होंगीl मगर सावधान हे हिंदी लघुकथा लेखक यह योजना आप जैसे प्रेमचंदीय लेखकों के लिए नहीं, बल्कि उन सेलीब्रेटीज़नुमा लेखकों के लिए है जिन्हें इस आधुनिक भारत का युवा जानता तो है मगर उनकी कथा-प्रतिभा से अभी तक परिचित नहीं हैl तो, इस योजना का असली मकसद आधुनिक भारत के इसी युवा वर्ग के उस सेलीब्रेटी साहित्य प्रेम अर्थात उनके भीतर छिपे उस साहित्य अनुराग को जाग्रत करना है जिसको जगाने में कथा सम्राट प्रेमचंद,रेणु, राही मासूम रज़ा, श्रीलाल शुक्ल से लेकर मुझ जैसा प्रेमचंदीय लेखक असफल रहा है,और जिनकी असफलताओं के चलते हमारा यह युवा पाठक आज के हिंदी साहित्य से विमुख होता जा रहा हैl
फेसबुक फिक्शन शृंखला अर्थात ‘लप्रेक‘ यानी इस लघु प्रेम कथा योजना की सबसे महत्वपूर्ण और आकर्षित करने वाली बात यह होगी कि हिंदी के नए बनते पाठक के भीतर छिपे उसके साहित्यानुराग को जाग्रत या दोहन करने के लिए प्रकाशित की जाने वाली इस प्रथम सौ पृष्ठीय पुस्तक की प्री-बुकिंग कीमत मात्र 80/- रुपए रखी गई हैl यानी एक ज़माने में जिस तरह राजन-इकबाल सीरिज़ की पुस्तकें युवाओं को अपनी ओर आकर्षित करती थीं , वही काम अब ‘लप्रेक‘ करने जा रहा हैl पुस्तक की प्री-बुकिंग का एक अर्थ तो साफ़ है कि इसके अंतर्गत जितनी भी बुकिंग होगी वह सार्वजनिक और बेहद पारदर्शी होगीl हो सकता है इस योजना के शुरू होने के बाद हिंदी प्रकाशन जगत इस तौहीन से निष्कलंक हो जाए , और जिसकी हर छोटे-बड़े लेखक को शिकायत रहती है कि हिंदी का प्रकाशक कभी भी उसकी पुस्तक की सही बिक्री नहीं बताताl
वैसे सुनने में यह भी आ रहा है कि इस योजना को ‘लौंच‘ करने की बड़े जोर-शोर से भव्य तैयारी चल रही हैl इतना ही नहीं, सुना है कि प्रकाश्य पुस्तक और उसके लेखक को इसके प्रकाशक द्वारा इस घटना को हिंदी साहित्य का एक ऐतिहासिक ‘इवेंट‘ बनाने के लिए फ़िल्मी सितारों से लबरेज़ जयपुर में चल रहे एक मेले में अपने पराश्रित मध्यवर्गीय पाठकों को परिचित करने के लिए महंगी इवेंट भी रखी हैl मुझे तो इस अप्रतिम इवेंट के बारे में सुन-सुन कर हिंदी के उन अभागे लेखकों पर तरस आ रहा है, जो अपनी छपी हुई पुस्तक को अपने सीमित संसाधनों और प्रयासों के चलते कभी पटना भागा जा रहा है, तो कभी लखनऊ कभी महाराष्ट्र जा रहा है तो कभी दूसरी जगह तलाश है और तलाश रहा है अपने उस पाठक को जो प्रेमचंद, रेणु, राही मासूम रज़ा और श्रीलाल शुक्ल के साहित्य की तरह उसके साहित्य से भी विमुख होता जा रहा हैl
हिंदी जगत की इस ऐतिहासिक घटना से साफ़ है कि हिंदी का वह लेखक जो अपनी कुछ सौ पुस्तकों के बल पर, अपने लेखन को समाज परिवर्तन की ज़मीन तैयार करने वाला औज़ार मानता था, और इतराता फिर रहा था, उसके दिन अब लदने वाले हैंl सोच रहा हूँ कि जिस फेसबुक पर अपनी वाल को अपने उपन्यास ‘नरक मसीहा‘ के प्रचार में रंगे जा रहा हूँ, उसकी जगह मैं भी लघु प्रेम कथा अर्थात ‘लप्रेक‘ लिखना शुरू कर ,यह जानते हुए कि आज तक मैंने किसी से प्रेम तो क्या ,प्रेम से देखा तक नहीं l मगर एक दिक्कत भी है कि जब मैं कोई सेलिब्रेटी ही नहीं हूँ तो मेरी इन ‘लप्रेक‘ पर यकीन कौन करेगा? मैं तो अपने पुरखों प्रेमचंद, रेणु, राही मासूम रज़ा यशपाल, जैनेन्द्र, श्रीलाल शुक्ल के साथ-साथ मुझ जैसे लेखकों के बारे में सोच कर परेशान हो रहा हूँ जिन्होंने धूल और धूप में अपने रक्त को सीच-सींच कर समाज के दुखों को अपना दुःख बनायाl
दोनों का अपना स्थान है। मुझे नहीं लगता इसमें इतनी हाय तौबा क्यूँ मचाई जा रही है। मुझे दोनों तरीके के साहित्य को पढने में रुचि है और कई लोगों को भी होगी। इससे लोगों को केवल एक और विकल्प मिल रहा है।
समाज मे हर नई परंपरा का विरोध लाजमी है , आप भी उसी समाज का हिस्सा हैं , यह कोई नई घटना नही है कि हाय तौबा मचाई जाय .
एक बात और..हिंदी की विशाल दुनिया में पिद्दी सी कोई चीज आई हो और जानकीपुल का मॉडरेटर उसे अतिशयता में नए युग की शुरुआत करार दे दे तो उसका आप और हम क्या कर लेंगे? लोगबाग तो चाँद लाने-तोड़ने के दावे करते आये हैं
मोरवालजी का बहुत शुक्रिया कि उन्होंने लप्रेक पर कीबोर्ड दबाना ज़रूरी समझा..नहीं तो बहुतेरे तो ऐसे हैं कि या तो उन्हें फेसबुक से दिक्कत हो जाती है,हल्का माध्यम लगता है या तो प्रेम के इज़हार को ही फूहड़ मानते हैं और शहर तो खलनायक है ही. आपने तो कम से कम विचार करने लायक समझा.
रही बात प्रेमचंद की परंपरा को सहेजने की तो करीब सौ साल से हिंदी समाज उसी को तो सहेज रहा है..अब उनमे से एकाध "गोबर" निकल जाए और शहर को सम्भावना के तौर पर देखने लगे तो बर्दास्त तो करना ही होगा..शहर में रहने की जिद और एक हद तक मज़बूरी के बीच इस परंपरा के प्रति nostalgic हुआ जा सकता है,बाकियों की तरह प्रतिबद्ध तो नहीं ही न..
कुछ ऐसी लघुकथाएं मैंने भी लिखी हैं पर लप्रेक शब्द से आज वाकिफ़ हुई हूँ .. भगवानदास मोरवाल जी का लेख पढ़ना अच्छा लगा|
