‘बकर पुराण’ के बारे में
यह एक साहित्य है जिसमें एलीट या सजावटी होने का कोई दवाब नहीं है। न ही हमने कभी नैतिकता की चादर ओढ़ने की कोशिश की है। इस साहित्य का नाम भले ही ‘बकर साहित्य’ है पर बकवास कुछ भी नहीं।
‘बकर साहित्य’ हिंदी साहित्य की वो विधा है जो सड़क के पास की चाय के दुकानों, गोलगप्पे के ठेलों, स्कूल-कॉलेज के हॉस्टलों से होते हुए बैचलर लौंडों के उस कमरे पर पहुँचता है जहाँ ग़ालिब है, मोमिन है, ट्रॉटॅवस्की है, आँद्रे ब्रेताँ है और कॉस्मोपॉलिटन का पुराना-सा इशू भी। उसी कमरे में कटरीना की तस्वीर भी है और लियोनार्दो के स्फूमेटो अफेक्ट को बताती किताब भी।
उस कमरे में झाड़ू नहीं लगी हो, बर्तन गंदे हों लेकिन चार लौंडे जब साथ बैठकर मदिरा का सेवन कर रहे हों, पाँचवा सिर्फ़ चखना दे रहा हो तो मोदी-ओबामा से लेकर सचिन-गाँगुली, निकॉल्सन-डी नीरो, काफ़्का-कमू, मंटो-प्रसाद, कबीर-नानक तक पर गहन चर्चा हो जाती है।
बकर साहित्य यहाँ साँस लेता है, स्वछंद होकर। यहाँ साहित्यकार नग्न होता है। चाहे वो नशे में हो या होश में, एक-एक बात दुनियावी कपड़ों और रंग-बिरंगे चश्मों के परे करता है। यहाँ आलोचना की जगह है।
अजीत भारती के बारे में
बिहार के बेगूसराय ज़िले के छोटे से गाँव रतनमन बभनगामा में जन्मे अजीत भारती की शुरूआती शिक्षा सैनिक स्कूल तिलैया में हुई। किरोड़ीमल कॉलेज़ (DU) से अंग्रेज़ी साहित्य में स्नातक किया। तदोपरांत पत्रकारिता में स्नातकोत्तर किया।
फिर TOI, ET और IANS में काम किया। फिर सहायक प्रोफ़ेसर के रूप में दिल्ली के एक कॉलेज़ में पत्रकारिता की शिक्षा भी दी। आजकल शिकागो से संचालित एक न्यूज़ पोर्टल में सहायक संपादक हैं।

बैचलर लौंडों का पार्टी प्रीपेरेशन
लड़कों और लड़कियों में पार्टी जाने वक़्त एक ही मेन डिफरेंस होता है। लड़कियाँ अपने सैंतालीस नए टॉप (एक बार पहने या पिछले सप्ताह ख़रीद कर अलमीरा में रखे हुए), सतहत्तर सैंडल (पेयर में, सिंगल में एक सौ चौव्वन), अड़तीस क्लच, बारह सैचल, उन्नीस बाकी हैंडबैग, अनगिनत जींस आदि में से क्या ट्राय करूँ ये डिसाइड करने में कुछ घंटे लगा देती हैं।
ध्यान रहे अभी सिर्फ़ ट्राय करने का वक़्त बताया है। एक्चुअली में वो किसी दुकान जाकर पूरा नया सेट भी ख़रीद सकती हैं।
और लौंडे भी समय उतना ही लेते हैं लेकिन दूसरे कारणों से। पहले सोचते हैं कि पार्टी में जाएँ कि नहीं। ठेल-धकेल के डिसाइड हुआ कि चलना ही है तो फिर गंदे कपड़ों में से कम गंदा कपड़ा निकाल लेगा। अपनी इस अचीवमेंट पर मन-ही-मन एकॉम्प्लिश्ड फ़ील करेगा।
फिर कहीं से पता चला कि ‘ड्रेस कोड’ है। फिर बकचोदी करेगा, “साला, घुसने नहीं देगा क्या अगर चप्पल में चले गए तो?” कोई कहेगा कि हाँ भाई, बहुत टाइट टर्म्स होते हैं।
“भक साला! ये कोई बात है! मेरे पास साला उजला जूता है। फ़ॉर्मल पैंट कहाँ से लाएँ?”
“रहुलवा को फ़ोन लगाओ? तेरा वेस्ट कितना है?”
“बत्तीस!”
“आए हाय मेरी जान! बत्तीस है।”
“अबे पूछो ना, जान-वान बाद में करना।”
“राहुल? यार वो रजिब्बा के पास पैंट नहीं है। मैनेज हो जाएगा?”
“कमर?”
“अबे बत्तीस है? और यार एक बेल्ट भी…”

अब फ़ोन दूसरे को लगाया जाएगा कि पैंट हो गया है, बेल्ट मिल जाएगा। फिर याद आया कि जूता तो स्पोर्ट्स वाला है। बकचोदी होगी, “यार इसको काला पॉलिश कर लेते हैं। हर चीज माँग के थोड़े ही पहनेंगे। कल पेट्रोल से धो लेंगे। एक बार में धुल जाएगा।”
“मूर्ख हो किया बे? ऐसे थोड़े होता है। चलो एक ख़रीद लेंगे।” तब कोई बोलेगा कि उसके पास एक्स्ट्रा है, काम हो जाएगा।
“चड्डी-गंजी है कि वो भी लाएँ?”
“नहीं बे, चड्डी है। हाँ, अब ये मत बोल देना कि नहा के जाना है! आयरन कर लें? या छोड़ो… नीचे क्या है सूट के कौन देखता है! ऐसे ही पहन लेंगे। यार वॉर्म भेस्ट लेना पड़ेगा, ठंड में फट के हाथ में आ जाएगी।”
