अनिरूद्घ राय चौधरी निर्देशित और रितेश शाह लिखित फिल्म ‘पिंक‘ को समझने के लिए हमें वैसी ‘समझ‘ चाहिए जो पितृ सत्तात्मक व्यवस्था के पूर्वाग्रह व संस्कार से पूरी तरह मुक्त हो। वह मन चाहिए जो वर्जनाओं से मुक्त हो, डर और आतंक से ग्रसित वह मन नहीं जो पाप व पुण्य में फँसा हुआ है।
यह फिल्म हमें कैसी समझ देती है? कैसे प्रश्न उठाती है? स्त्री की मुक्ति कहां है? इन सवालों को मन में ले फिल्म देखना शुरू किया तो पाया कि यह फिल्म पारम्परिक व घरेलू महिलाओं व युवतियों को जीवन पर नहीं है।
यह कथा उन आधुनिक युवतियों की है जो शिक्षित व आत्मनिर्भर हैं और दिल्ली जैसे महानगर में कमरा लेकर एक साथ रहती हैं।
जिन्हें पूर्वाग्रह और पारम्परिक रूढ़ि संस्कार से ग्रसित लोग कॉल गर्ल भी मानते हैं पर वे कॉल गर्ल नहीं हैं। वे नार्मल वर्किंग वुमेन हैं। जो हंसती बोलती हैं, कमाती हैं कोई कोई अपने घर की आर्थिक मदद भी करती है,संरक्षण देती हैं।
ये आधुनिक ख्याल की उस तरह से हैं कि वे छोटे कपड़े पहनती हैं, देर रात बाहर भी रहती हैं, शराब भी पी लेती हैं और अपने उस मित्र के साथ सहवास भी करती हैं जिसके साथ वे करना चाहती हैं।
ये तीन लड़कियां क्रमश: एंड्रिया(नार्थ ईस्ट से), मीनल (दिल्ली), फलक (लखनऊ)हैं।
फिल्म का प्रारंभ ‘तनाव‘से होता है और पूरी फिल्म में यह तनाव बना रहता है जो अंत में तब एक तरह से कम होता है जब न्यायालय का फैसला इन तीनों लड़कियों के पक्ष में जाता है।
मूल समस्या इस फिल्म में यह है कि तीन लडकियां रॉक शॉ में देर रात चार लड़कों से मिलती घुलती-मिलती हैं। ड्रिंक भी लेती हैं। और उनके साथ शुद्ध भाव से कमरे में अकेले भी जाती हैं।
उसमें से एक का नाम राजवीर है जो कि धनी भी है और मंत्री का बेटा है।
उसके साथ मीनल कमरे में जाती है और राजवीर जब उसकी मर्जी के खिलाफ उससे संबंध बनाना चाहता है तो वह उसे हाथ में आए कांच के बोतल से इतनी जोर से मारती है कि उसकी आँख के साथ-साथ उसकी जान भी जाने की पूरी संभावना रहती है।
राजवीर और उसके मित्र मीनल, फलक और एंड्रिया को न सिर्फ कोट तक ले जाते हैं , मीनल को जबर्दस्ती गाड़ी में बैठा उसका मॉलेस्टेशन, भी करते हैं।
इस मूल कथा के समानान्तर जो छोटी कथाएं चलती हैं उनके द्वारा इन युवतियों को बिगड़ी और बर्बाद लड़कियां कहने के लिए कई उदाहरण दिए गए हैं कि ये ‘वैसी‘ लड़कियां हैं।
जो सहवास के रेट फिक्स करती हैं। पैसों के लिए ही ये सब करती हैं।
दीपक सहगल (अमिताभ बच्चन)एक प्रतिष्ठित वकील हैं जो ‘बुद्ध‘ बनकर इनकी मदद करने पहुंचते हैं। कई लोगों का तर्क है कि पुरूष की इस व्यवस्था ने स्त्री को जो संताप और हाहाकार दिया है उससे मुक्त करवाने पुरूष ही पहुंचा!
पर क्या फर्क पड़ता है उन तीन लड़कियों की मदद करने समाज को उसकी वर्जनाओं से मुक्ति दिलाने कोई पुरूष मिला या स्त्री। अर्थ तो उनका कर्म से है और वह एक बीज वाक्य कहते हैं कि इस सोशायटी का विकास ही गलत डिरेक्शन में हुआ है। लड़कियां जिन्स टी शर्ट व छोटे कपड़े न पहने, रात बाहर न रहे कारण लड़के उत्तेजित होते हैं। लड़कियाों को हर वक्त अच्छा रहने की शिक्षा दी जाती है। जब की शिक्षा लड़कों को दी जानी चाहिए।
दीपक सहगल पितृ व्यवस्था पर व्यंग्य करतेे हैं और कहते हैं कि इस व्यवस्था में रहना है तो युवतियों को कुछ ‘सेफ्टी रूल्स‘ मानने चाहिए जो इस प्रकार हैं-
1. देर रात तक बाहर नहीं रहना चाहिए।
2. लड़कों से हंस-हंस कर फ्रेंडली होकर बात नहीं करना चाहिए।
3.लड़कों के साथ शराब नहीं पीनी चाहिए।
4. अनजान लडकों के साथ टॉयलेट इस्तेमाल नहीं करना चाहिए।
हाँ शायद नया कुछ नहीं है फिल्म में पर वही पुरानी बात समझने की है कि पुरूष अहेरी है, नारी शिकार। युग-युग से जिन संस्कारों ने मूल्यों का निर्माण किया है उन पर प्रश्न चिन्ह।
स्त्री की योनि पर बलात् प्रहार कैसे पुरूष कर सकता है। पिंक यानी वर्जाइना यानी ‘योनि‘ यानी उन कामकाजी युवतियों और महिलाओं की भी योनि जो अपनी मर्जी से 19 साल की वय में सहवास करती है पर कोई भी पुरूष व युवक बलात् कैसे संभोग कर सकता है।
और यह पुरानी बात ही फिर समझने की है कि ‘काम‘ एक स्वाभाविक व नैसर्गिक प्रवृत्ति है। काम हर व्यक्ति के भीतर है। वह जीवन को गति देने वाली ऊर्जा है। जो शरीर व मन दोनों को सहेजे ऱखती है। जो स्त्री व पुरूष दोनों में है। उसको संस्कार देने की जरूरत है न कि बलात करने की। और क्या हमारे समाज में ‘काम‘ पर बात की जाती है? जो लड़कियाँ व युवतियाँ ऩौकरी करने अकेले बाहर नहीं रहती उनके मन को किसने पढ़ा और उनके साथ क्या होता है और नहीं होता उसका बही खाता किसके पास है। न जाने कैसे इस फिल्म के ‘तनाव‘ को महसूस करते हुए मेरे ज़हन में लगभग १८ -१९ साल पहले देखी रितुपर्ण घोष की फिल्म ‘दहन‘ घूम रही थी।
और अवान्तर ही सही विष्णु प्रभाकर का उपन्यास ‘अर्धनारीश्वर‘याद आ रहा था। जहाँ विष्णु प्रभाकर कहते हैं-” पारस्परि संबंधों में पुरूष और स्त्री एक दूसरे के पूरी तरह निरंकुश , स्थायी, और साथ ही कुछ दयनीय दास भी हैं क्योंकि मनुष्य में जब तक इच्छाएँ हैं, अभिरुचियाँ और आसक्तियाँ हैं तब तक वह इन वस्तुओं का और उन व्यक्तियों का भी दास है जिन पर वह उन इच्छाओं की पूर्ति के लिए भी निर्भर रहता है।
तो क्या मुक्ति का मार्ग इन इच्छाओं से, अभिरूचियों से, और आसक्तियों से मुक्त होना है। नहीं इच्छाओं की दासता से मुक्ति है।
परस्पर की दासता से मुक्ति।”
