यूपी चुनाव में जनता ने ऐसी होली खेली है कि किसी को कुछ समझ में नहीं आ रहा है. होली के इस माहौल में फणीश्वरनाथ रेणु की यह कविता याद आ गई-

साजन! होली आई है!
सुख से हँसना
जी भर गाना
मस्ती से मन को बहलाना
पर्व हो गया आज-
साजन ! होली आई है!
हँसाने हमको आई है!
साजन! होली आई है!
इसी बहाने
क्षण भर गा लें
दुखमय जीवन को बहला लें
ले मस्ती की आग-
साजन! होली आई है!
जलाने जग को आई है!

रंग उड़ाती
मधु बरसाती
कण-कण में यौवन बिखराती,
ऋतु वसंत का राज-
लेकर होली आई है!

खूनी और बर्बर
लड़कर-मरकर-
मधकर नर-शोणित का सागर
पा न सका है आज-
