शब्द गुम है कहीं …
कहीं बचपन की गुल्लक में तो नहीं !
सिक्के खनकते थे जहाँ –
आनेवाली खुशियों की आवाज़ में
गुल्लक का भरता था पेट ,
जाने कितनी चटोरी ख्वाहिशों की कटौतियों के हालात में
सिक्कों ने घेर लिया जब गुल्लक का पूरा आकार !
फिर भी रुको कहा खुद को ….
दीवाली आने तक ,
होली आने तक ,
बस जन्मदिन आने तक
और गुल्लक का आकार टूट गया इक दिन ….
दिवाली से पहले ,
होली से पहले ,
जन्मदिन से पहले ….
आज भी कई घरों में टूट जाते है –
नन्हें गुल्लक ,
पगार की तारीख आने से पहले
लौटकर जब पूछता है बचपन –
ये कैसे टूटा ?
घर चुप हो जाता है
माँ आँचल से नन्हे के आंसूओं को पोछते हुए कहती है …
रोता क्यूँ है !
पापा फिर नया ला देंगे
चल आज तेरी पसंद का खाना बना है ……
बचपन, थाली में पकवान देखकर –
पैसों के बारे में पूछना भूल जाता है ,
घर का आखरी हफ्ता नन्हे सिक्कों से चलाया जाता है
पिता कम बोलते है ,
माँ कुछ पूछती नहीं…..
घर में नया गुल्लक आया है !
माँ ने उसमे पहला सिक्का डाला है
सिक्के की आवाज़ घर में गूँज रही है
लेकिन –
“घर” के सभी शब्द गुम है …..
वह घर से लिपटकर डूब गया ……
एक घर था , घर में आँगन था ….
रसोई महकती –
बर्तन खड़कते ,
बतकहियाँ थी
थी हंसी- ठिठोली
घर न था अकेला
लोगो का लगा था मेला !
घर के आँगन में एक पौधा –
हरा था ,
बढ़कर छानी को छूने चला था
फूलों से –
रसदार फलों से भरा
घर को देख लहलहाता था !
पीला पड़ने लगा ……
घर उसकी ओर नहीं देख रहा था |
जड़े मिट्टी को छोड़ने लगी
घर बेखबर रहा
पत्तियाँ सूखकर गिरने लगी
घर अपने हिस्से की दीवारों से बात करता रहा
पेड़ पर लगा आखरी हरा पत्ता –
घर को पुकारने लगा …
घर पर पड़ती धूप ने सुना
आकाश के बादलों ने सुना ,
सूरज तक पहुंची आवाज़ -तो उसका मन भी डूब गया ….
लेकिन ,
घर ने नही सुना !!
एक पक्षी उतरा आकाश से-
पत्ते को चोंच में दबाये उड़ गया !
हरा पत्ता आकाश में जाकर
हरे रंग का विहंग हुआ !!
धरती जलमग्न हुई
घर साँस लेने को अकुलाया ,
आकाश में विचरता हरा नभचर –
उसे एक न भाया …
दिए उलाहने -हमारे आँगन से जीवन पाकर ,
हमें छोड़कर उड़ गया !!
घर को डूबता देख –
खग लौटा आँगन में
और घर से लिपटकर,
डूब गया ………….
( उड़ते हुए पक्षी ने कविता का यह अंत स्वीकार नही किया ,डूबते हुए घर में पद्म के बीज डाल …….एक बार फिर हरे विहंग को लेकर उड़ गया )
देह की शाख पर ….
एक पीला , हरे से बिछुड़ कर …
अलग होने -होने को है
थरथराता है मायूसी के हल्के से झौकों से
वह अपने भीतर हरे का सूखना –
देख रही है …..
एक द्रश्य है – पूरा सफ़ेद !!
बादल और बर्फ के पहाड़ …..और चुप ,
एक गहरी चुप – जहाँ भाषाऐ नहीं है
वह भाषाओं के कोलाहल से आहत है |
एक चिड़िया का घर ज़मीन पर नहीं ,
आकाश में नहीं ….
धरती को थामकर आकाश की ओर देखते –
वृक्ष पर होता है !
वह धरती में चुग कर आकाश में उड़ना चाहती है |
पीला अभी – अभी टूटकर झड़ गया
सफ़ेद द्रश्य में एक नीली नदी –
बर्फ की चादर के नीचे
चुपचाप बहा करती है !!
वह सदियों से चुप पहाड़ के पास ..
सफेद चादर ओढ़े ,
नीली नदी हो गयी है !!
आम का पेड़ !
बौराए आम से नई हरी पत्तियाँ …
घुटनों पर चलने वाले शिशु की तरह, पेड़ के आकार से बाहर झाँक रही है !
सूरज इन हरी पत्तियों की ओर देखते हुए
धीमे -धीमे घर की ओर लौटता है …
आजकल शाम देर से हुआ करती है
जाने कहाँ है घर उसका !! हमसे छिपता है , तो कही तो ठहरता होगा
या शायद बंजारों सा , बारी – बारी रौशनी छिड़कता धरती के दोनों छोरों पर …
घुमक्कड़ों सा चौबीसों घंटे घूमता होगा !
“प्रथ्वी” – अगर माँ होती सूरज की –
तो सूरज का भी घर होता |
आम के पेड़ के नीचे –
सूरज से छुपा हुआ अँधेरा पसरा हुआ है ..
वहाँ बौर की सुगंध के साथ थोड़ी देर बैठा जा सकता है !!
थोड़ी देर में हम नहीं बौराएंगे ,
नन्ही चिड़िया आम के पेड़ में गुम हो जाती है …..
फिर देर तक चहकती बौरायी फिरती है
चिड़िया का घर किसी भी पेड़ पर आकार ले सकता है !!
हम पंछी होते तो पेड़ हमारा घर होता ………
सड़क के दोनों ओर – कटी फसल से खाली पड़े खेत ,
जाने क्यूँ उजाड़ नहीं लग रहे थे !!
मिट्टी का भूरा रंग …ढलते सूरज के साथ दमक रहा था !
पगडंडियों पे हलके सुनहरे फूल लौटती किरणों के साथ –
धरती पर, आकाश से उतरे हुए लग रहे थे !!
किरने जैसे छू लेती है धरती को ….
हम पकड़ पाते आकाश का छोर ,
तो आकाश तारों नक्षत्रों के अलावा –
हमारी रेखाओं से भी सजा होता !!
मैं बार बार जन्म लेता हूँ पृथ्वी पर …
नित नये आकारों में ,
आकार मुझे निगल लेते है ……
अबकी बार मैं एक पेड़ होना चाहता हूँ
– बौराया हुआ आम !!
एक आम का पेड़- अपने आकार को धरती पर छोड़ …
पंछियों के साथ उड़ गया है !!
मैं ….अँधेरे का अभ्यस्त आदमी
मैं अँधेरे का अभ्यस्त आदमी
चुपचाप थोड़ा -थोड़ा तिमिर पीता रहा
मेरा आकार तमस में खो गया
उम्र सरकती रही …
अँधेरे का रंग समय के साथ –
मेरे रक्त कणों में घुलने लगा !
घनघोर विकराल तमस ,
अब किसी पालतू की तरह
मेरे मन की दहलीज़ पर ,निढाल पसरा हुआ है
कभी – कभी पूंछ भी हिला दिया करता है |
वह कुछदिनों से उजाले के इस ओर झाँकने से परेशान है …..
अँधेरे के आकार पर रौशनी के छींटे दाग की तरह दिखाई दे रहे है !
वह उजाले को किसी रोग की तरह देखता है
जो उसका स्वरूप छीन रहा है |
अँधेरे का अभ्यस्त मेरा मन –
उजाले की आवक पर
तिमिर की तरह दुबक गया है!
मैंने मन को ,ढांढस दिया
अँधेरा दुशाले की तरह ओढ़ लिया
रौशनी से कहा एक गहरे रंग के बारे में –
उसने समेट लिया वह रंग अपनी ठोड़ी में नज़र के टीके की तरह
मैं अँधेरे का अभ्यस्त आदमी –
उजाले के लिए गहरा काला अजनबी ही रहा
अँधेरा -खूबसूरत चिन्ह होकर ,
मुझे भूल गया !
अँधेरे के अणु मेरे रक्त में घुल गये थे जो ..
मेरे गुणसूत्रों को बदल गये
मैंने अपनी प्रेयसी से कहा –
मुझे छोड़ जाओ …..
मुझसे एक शिशु नहीं घना अँधेरा जन्म लेगा,
वह ढीठ निकली
उसका प्रेम मेरे रक्त कणों को भिगो गया
हमनें प्रेम को जन्म दिया !!
अँधेरा उसकी “नन्ही ” ठोड़ी पर बिंदु के आकार में सिमट गया ,
मैं अँधेरे का अभ्यस्त आदमी –
मैंने उसकी ठोढ़ी को चूम लिया |
