लॉकडाउन के इस काल में हम सब कहीं न कहीं फँसे हुए हैं। ऐसे ही हाल में जाने माने मनोचिकित्सक, लेखक-कवि विनय कुमार ने काल पटना में अपने घर में अकेले ही अपने विवाह की 42 वीं वर्षगाँठ मनाई। उनको बधाई के साथ उनकी यह कायवात्मक पाती पढ़िए- मॉडरेटर

इन दिनों घर में अकेला हूँ। बेटी मेडिकल कॉलेज में मरीज़ों की सेवा में और पत्नी न्यू जर्सी,अमेरिका मे बेटे के पास ।कल अरसे बाद उसके नाम कोई पाती लिखी। उसे भेजी तो बोली – सबको पढ़ा दो। सो, अपना या ख़त दरबार ए आम में-
पाती

लोगों के फ़ोन बहुत आ रहे
पूछते हैं – कैसा हूँ
यह जानकर सहानुभूति चचकारते हैं
कि में अपने घर में निपट अकेला हूँ
परेशान हो जाता हूँ कई बार
तो पैर बहलाते हैं
चलो छत पर
पंछी आ रहे होंगे
जवाब देते हैं दो हाथ
और दस उँगलियाँ
सारी की सारी इंद्रियाँ
आँखें कहती हैं –
मेरे पास सूर्य
और चंद्रमा दोनों की रोशनी है
कान कहते हैं
मेरे पास बेगम अख़्तर की आवाज़ है
लता और किशोर और जगजीत की भी
नासिकाएँ यक़ीन दिलाती हैं
कि उनके पास फूलों की ही नहीं
पहली बारिश में भीगती सूखी मिट्टी की साँस भी है
जीभ कहती है – बोलो क्या चाहिए
इतना लंबा मेन्यू है मेरे पास
पढ़ते – पढ़ते नींद आ जाएगी
और हथेली दोस्तों के नाम गिनाने लग जाती है !

ख़ुद को बहलाने की भी एक हद होती है
पेड़ों और फूलों और पंछियों के चेहरे याद हो गए हैं
मोहल्लों के कुत्तों को
उनकी आवाज़ से पहचानने लग गया हूँ
समझने लगा हूँ कि सारे कौए इसी मुहल्ले के नहीं
कुछ राजेंद्रनगर और बाइपास के पार से भी आते हैं
और वे अपनी गोष्ठियों में कोरोना के ख़िलाफ़
कविता नहीं पढ़ते

इस विवश एकांत से अधिक कौन जानता है
कि हज़ारों मील दूर
बच्चों को गोद में लिए एक मचान पर बैठी हो तुम
मृत्यु की ख़बरें बाढ़ के पानी की तरह बढ़ रही हैं
किसी मार खाए बच्चे की तरह
परदे की ओट से झाँकते हैं वे दिन
जब दूरियों की पैमाइश घंटों में होती थी
मील अपनी लम्बाई लिए वापस आ गए हैं
रोटी हम दोनों के पास है तकिए भी
लेकिन नींद
खिड़की के शीशों पर
ओस की तरह टपकती है
शीशे धुंधले हो जाते हैं और सो जाते हैं
आँखें जागती हैं
मगर शीशों के पार कुछ भी दिखाई नहीं देता
तुम्हारा डर समझाता है
खिड़कियाँ मत खोलो
मूँद लो आँखें और सोने की कोशिश करो
और तभी अशुभ आवाज़ों वाली गाड़ियाँ
पत्रहीन वृक्षों की ठूँठ नींद को चीरती गुज़र जाती हैं
अच्छी चीज़ें बूँद-बूँद बह रही हैं उधर
जिधर जाना मना है

उत्तरी अमेरिका एक महादेश है
कई महानताएँ बसती हैं वहाँ
सोने के पर्वत रखने की गगनचुंबी तिजोरियाँ
और बर्फ़ के विस्तार के नीचे सोने का नगर
वे हथियार जो सब कुछ ख़त्म कर सकते हैं
सबको मार सकने की ताक़त जिसके पास
तीन-चार फ़ीट गहरे गड्ढे खोद रहा है
गलियाँ यहाँ भी सूनी हैं
मगर बुलेवार्ड का सूनापन अंतरिक्ष जैसा लगता है
ठीक कहती हो तुम
यह झोपड़ी और महल के गिरने का फ़र्क़ है
जो भी ही संयम का मचान कभी नहीं गिरता प्रिये
कह देना बच्चों से
कि पुरखों की यह बात अमरदीप है
जिसकी रोशनी में
पृथ्वी के सबसे पुराने नागरिकों में से एक -भारत – ने सहस्राब्दियाँ पार की हैं

यहाँ का समाचार अच्छा है
हवा साफ़ है आसमान नीला
कल बारिश हुई थी
मैं बालकनी में बेंत की कुर्सी पर देर तक बैठा
लगा, रामगिरि पर बैठा हूँ

पंछियों का दाना-पानी बदस्तूर जारी है
कुत्तों की रोटियाँ भी
पड़ोसी की गायों का रंभाना अच्छा लग रहा इन दिनों
उनके लम्बे और छोटे आलाप
ऋगवेद के गायत्री छंद की याद दिलाते हैं
मुहल्ले का कोई समाचार नहीं मिला है
यानी ठीक ही होगा सब
अपना मुहल्ला तो पहले भी शरीफ़ों का था
अब तो सामाजिक दूरी को
क़ानून का दर्जा ही मिल गया है
सुरक्षा सबसे बड़ा सरोकार है
भला आदमी वह जो दो मीटर दूर से मिले
संदेह को स्वभाव में बसाने को कोशिश जारी है

मुल्क का क्या कहें
पहुँचती ही होंगी ख़बरें तमाम
मलाई की परत पतली हो गयी है
पराठे रोटियों में बदल गए हैं
कल की तमाम उड़ानें रद्द हैं
अचानक लगे ब्रेक के बावजूद
पहिए घूम रहे हैं
जगह-जगह जलते टायर की गंध है
बजती थालियों, जलते दीयों और बरसते फूलों के बीच
बहुत चूल्हे ठंडे हो गए हैं
राजाओं को कहाँ रहता ध्यान
कि पैरों और हाथों के बीच पेट भी होता है
जो ठीक से षडरस नहीं जान पाए
क्या जान पाते कि वाइ-रस क्या बला है
जिनके पास ताले ही नहीं
कैसे समझ पाते कि क्या होती तालाबंदी
बहकावे सिखावे और बहलावे के वोटर
क्या बूझ पाते कि ‘सर्वजन सुखाय’ बोलती
सियासत के मन में क्या है
बाँसों से घिरे हैं रास्ते
भूख के बाड़े में बँधे हैं करोड़ों पेट
मज़दूरी की शान
कारख़ानों और इमारतों की उदासी में दफ़्न हो गयी है
सूबों और तहसीलों की सरहदों पर
भय है भूख है भीख है
नहीं है तो भरोसा
नेह के नमक के लिए दौड़ रहे लाखों पैर
क़ानून की लाठियों
घृणा की ठोकरों और मौत के मोड़ों के बावजूद
बापू ने गमछे को मास्क बना लिया है

मन बहुत उदास है बहोत
वजह क्या बताऊँ
ग़म ए जानां और ग़म दौरां एक हो गए हैं
चलो चाय पीते हैं
मेरे हाथों में शाम की चाय है
और तुम्हारे हाथों में सुबह की
मेरी दार्जिलिंग तुम्हारी असम
मेरी फीकी तुम्हारी शीरीं
चलो आज चुस्कियाँ टकराते हैं –
और चीयर्स की किताब में नया क़ायदा जोड़ते हैं
और चुस्कियाँ भी वो नहीं
जो तहज़ीब की अटारी पर
बैठी चिड़िया की तरह चुपचाप बोले
खुलकर पीते हैं आज अपनी दादियों की तरह
और चाय के सुड़कने की आवाज़
उन केबल्स में बहने देते हैं
जो मृत्यु भय से सहमे महासागरों
और महादेशों के हृदय से गुज़रते हैं !

जब तुम कॉल करती हो तो कहता हूँ –
रुको, अभी लगाता हूँ
दरअसल मैं उन तकियों को हटाने लग जाता हूँ
जिनका बिस्तर पर होना
शब ए फ़िराक़ की शिद्दत का सबूत है
जब तुम कॉल करती हो तो कहता हूँ –
रुको, अभी लगाता हूँ
और मैं उन किताबों को हटाने लग जाता हूँ
जो फ़सीलों की तरह मुझे घेरे रहती हैं
क्योंकि जानती हो तुम
कि ये मेरे “पारा-पारा हुआ पैराहन ए जान “
के पेपरवेट हैं
इन्हें हटाकर तुझे बताना चाहता हूँ
कि मैंने आँधियों को बाएँ पैर के अँगूठे से दबा रखा है
पृथ्वी घूम रही है मगर हम नहीं घूम सकते
हवाओं की आवाजाही जारी है
मगर हम महदूद
क्या आवास और क्या प्रवास
पंछियों की चोंचें
एक दूसरे को नेह के दाने खिला रही हैं
और हम पाबंदी ए रोज़ा के ग़ुलाम
एक वाइरस मौत और मज़हब का रिश्ता तय कर रहा है!

तुम्हारे मंदिर में हड़ताल है
रूठे हैं सारे विग्रह
एक जैसे फूलों और फलों के प्रसाद से ऊब गए हैं वे
सपने में आते हैं अक्सर और कहते हैं
कि यार गोंद के लड्डू और काजू कतली खाए
महीनों हो गए
सोचता हूँ, उज्जैन में काल भैरव का क्या हाल होगा
कैसे तैरता होगा मछली-मछली मन
सूखी हुई दूबों पे ओस के बिखराव में
आस्तिकता कानों में फुसफुसाती है –
शराब की दुकानें उन्हीं की मर्ज़ी से खुली हैं!

तुम जब गयी थी परदेस
आम की फुनगियाँ सूनी थीं
दिखाया था न तुम्हें कि कैसे मँजरा गयी थी
अपनी आम्रपाली
पिछवाड़े का बीजू भी पीला हो गया था
अब दोनों ही अपनी पीली आभा खो चुके हैं
और नन्हीं-मुन्नी अमियों के हरापन से भरे हैं
कभी-कभी कहते हैं वे कूदती गिलहरियों से –
समय तो काल है
मत देखो उसे
ऋतुएँ बाहर नहीं रगों में बहती हैं
रुको कुछ दिन, लौटेंगे फिर से मंजरियो के रंग
आर्द्रा की खीर में टपकेगा मेरा प्यार
स्वाद और सुगंध की दावत होगी ज़रूर होगी !

कुछ ही कमरे खुले हैं घर के
बाक़ी बंद हैं
ताले सिर्फ़ सरकार के पास ही नहीं
गृहिणियों के पास भी होते हैं
और वह जब घर में नहीं हो
तो चाबियाँ दौलत हो जाती है
ख़ुशी होगी जानकर तुम्हें
कि मैं इन चाबियों की झंकार
पाज़ेब की तरह सुनता हूँ
और उन्हें दिल की तिजोरी में बंद रखता हूँ!

लिखना बंद नहीं हुआ है
सच तो यही कि बहुत लिखने लगा हूँ
होड़-सी लगी है
कि सन्नाटा जीतता है या छंद
ख़ालीपन की ख़बरें जीतती हैं
या फ़सलों से भरे खेतों और
बच्चों के शोर से भरे आँगनों के गीत
सूना आसमान जीतता है
या चूमे हुए होंठ सा खिला चाँद !

अपने मेडिकल कॉलेज में
मरीज़ों के आँसू पोंछती बेटी थोड़ी बड़ी हो गयी है
समझदार भी
याद है न खिचड़ी की तरफ़ देखती तक नहीं थी
अब खाती भी है और बनाती भी
छोटी कविताएँ लिखकर चल देनेवाली छुटकी
हज़ारों शब्द लिखकर भी नहीं ऊबती
हाय रे भागती हुई दुनिया
तू जो ठहर गयी है तो बच्चे
अपने भीतर लौटने लगे हैं !

तुम जहाँ हो वह जेल नहीं घर है
हमारे टूँसे हैं वहाँ
हमारे होने का अर्थ
हमारी शाखाएँ हैं वहाँ
जिसके साये में सरहद की खाट नहीं
मनुष्यता की जाजिम है
पुकारना तो चाहता हूँ तुम्हें उस तकिए की तरह
जिसके गिलाफ़ कई महीनों से रजनीगंधा बालों के इंतज़ार में धुलते-धुलते फीके पड़ गए हैं
मगर जब देखता हूँ
कि गुन्नू के होठों से तुम्हारी
और तुम्हारे होंठों से गुन्नू की हँसी झर रही
तो इस जादू के आलोक में ठिठक जाता है
मेरी आवाज़ से उठता तुम्हारा नाम
जिसे उचारते-उचारते
मैं तोता से हंस में बदल गया हूँ!
