बढ़ती गर्मी के बीच मौसम का बदलना तो तय था। लगा अब बारिश आने वाली है, बारिश का आना सब किसानों की पक रही फसलों को तबाह करने जैसा था। बारिश और हवाएं जब साथ-साथ चलती है, तो अगर वह पक रही फसलों के समय हो रहा है इसका मतलब यह है कि फसलों का बचना मुश्किल है, जहाँ तक की फसल के तबाह होने से ज्यादा, जो विधि का विधान है, पकी फसलों को बरबाद करके रख देना। मौसम खराब होने के चलते किसानों को भारी नुक्सान का सामना करना पड़ा है। आमतौर पर हम यह हर साल ही सुनते है, कि इस राज्य मे मौसम खाब होने के चलते फसलों को भारी नुकसान हुआ तो कभी उस राज्य में, आई बारिश और आँधी के कारण ।
इस माह हुई बारिश ने हमारे राज्य उत्तराखण्ड के किसानों की फसलों को क्षतिग्रस्त किया है। जिससे किसानों का नुकसान बहुत ही गम्भीर हुआ है।
हमारे जिले उधम सिंह नगर के क्षेत्रों में जैसे-प्रताबपुर, धूमखेडण, सुनखरी आदि इलाको से जब में गुजरा, तो मैंने देखा कि इन इलाको में गिरी हुई थी।
The HINDUSTAN Times द्वारा जारी किए गए 22 March 2023 तारीख़ के अखबार का डेटा भी कहता है कि कुमाँऊ रिजन मे 10-15 फीसद ही फसलो का नकुसान हुआ है।
इस 10 से 15 प्रतिशत में अधिकतर किसान ऐसे हैं जिनकी फसलें पूरी तरह से आई बारिश के चलते जमीन से जुड़ चुकी है। ज्यादातर यह किसान वह है, जिन्हें हम छोटे किसान या फिर सीमांत किसान कहते हैं। जो 2 से 3 एकड़ खेत के मालिक होते हैं। मेरे पापा भी एक छोटे किसान है, और मेरे ताऊ जी भी। पिछले कुछ दिनों पहले हुई बारिश में मेरे ताऊ जी की फसल पूरी तरह से नष्ट हो गई।
महेंद्र सिंह जी मेरे ताऊ है और देखा जाए तो उनकी फसल जोकि 3 एकड़ में खड़ी थी वह बारिश और हवा के चलते जमीन से जुड़ चुकी है यानी कि खराब हो गई। उनका कहना है कि फसल का उत्पादन तो अब भी होगा पर उसमें अनाज की मात्रा में कमी आ जाएगी जैसे हम देख सकते हैं कि अगर पिछले वर्ष 1 एकड़ से 20 क्विंटल फसल हुई तो इस बार वह घटकर कुछ फ़ीसदी कम हो जाएगी और उसमें मिट्टी कंकड़ मिले होने के कारण उसका रेट भी कम लगेगा जिससे हमारा नुकसान बहुत ही होगा।
