त्रिवेणी कला संगम, मंडी हाउस की श्रीधरणी आर्ट गैलरी पिछले दिनों राजधानी के दर्शकों व कला प्रेमियों के बीच आकर्षण का केंद्र बनी रही। रज़ा न्यास के तत्वावधान में ‘प्रकृति’ नाम से आयोजित यह प्रदर्शनी 1 जुलाई से 10 जुलाई तक चली। इस आदिवासी व जनजातीय कला प्रदर्शनी में हजारों लोगों ने शिरकत की।
लोक में जीवन या कि जीवन में लोक- इस अवधारणा को केंद्र में रखकर ‘प्रकृति’ की सभी कृतियों के चयन व समायोजन का कार्य वरिष्ठ कलाकार अखिलेश के द्वारा किया गया।
‘प्रकृति’ इन मायनों में महत्वपूर्ण है कि इसमें महाराष्ट्र, मध्य प्रदेश और बिहार के लोक कलाकारों के अलावा पूर्वोत्तर क्षेत्र व दक्षिण भारत के उन्नीस युवा आदिवासी व जनजातीय कलाकारों की चालीस कलाकृतियों को शामिल किया गया। ये कलाकार हैं – बालुजिया म्हासे, कामता बाई, जापानी श्याम, डी वेंकटरमण, पुण्यो चोबिन, मिंकी दास, कृष्णन, लालरेमरु आता वर्ते, मृण्मय देववर्मा, नंदिता राभा, रिंकु बैगा,संतोष मारावी, फुरत्सेमरिंग लेपचा, रोनरा शिमरे सोचीहान, सृजित के आर, थ्रोगकिउबा यिमचुंगरु, विश्वनाथ, सुनीता भावोर और सदाशिव म्हासे।
इन विभिन्न कलाकारों और उनकी कलाओं पर बातचीत के क्रम में रज़ा न्यास के आजीवन न्यासी अशोक वाजपेयी जापानी श्याम का विशेष रुप से जिक्र करते हुए बताते हैं कि, ” जापानी श्याम की एक पूरी पीढ़ी आदिवासी लोककलाओं को वैश्विक पटल पर स्थापित करने के लिए वर्षों से संघर्षरत है। कला के इस हाशियेकरण के संघर्ष में जापानी श्याम के पिता जनगढ़ सिंह श्याम एक मजबूत स्तंभ बनकर उभरे और गोंड कलाकारों को भारत भवन के मंच से लेकर अंतरराष्ट्रीय फलक तक पर एक सशक्त स्वीकारोक्ति मिली। उनकी कृति ‘लैंडस्केप विद स्पाइडर’ ने बेशुमार शोहरत बटोरी और उनके कृतियों की कीमत लाखों में आँकी गयी। “
मेनस्ट्रीम आर्ट से दरकिनार व नज़रअंदाज कर दिये गए इन आदिवासी लोक कलाओं को आधुनिक शहरी अभिजात्य कलाओं के समानांतर लाने की इस नायाब कोशिश में दर्शकों को पारंपरिक लोक राग, लोकरंग, लोक स्वप्न, लोक उत्सव से लेकर समसामयिक लोक संचेतना का अभूतपूर्व फ्यूजन देखने को मिला ‘प्रकृति’ में। जहां एक ओर प्रकृति और जीवन, जीवन और दर्शन के साथ जीवन की जटिलताओं का कलात्मक उद्बोधन स्पष्ट रुप से झलक रहा है, वहीं सादे व सरल रंगों में बोधगम्य प्रस्फुटन भी दर्शकों को लुभा रहे थे। सूक्ष्म व तरल संवेदना रचनात्मकता के विविध आयामों में बेहतरीन तरीके से परिलक्षित होती हुई दिखी।
जहाँ दक्षिण भारत की पाँच छह सौ साल पुरानी ‘चेलियाल मास्क ‘ हर किसी का ध्यान अपनी ओर केंद्रित कर रही थी वहीं महाराष्ट्र की ‘ वरली चित्रकला’, बिहार की ‘मधुबनी पेंटिंग’ और मध्य प्रदेश के गोंड, बैंगा व भील कलाकारों की कलाकृतियों ने भी कलाप्रेमियों की खूब तारीफें बटोरी।
इस प्रदर्शनी की सबसे ख़ास बात यह है कि एक्रेलिक, एंब्रॉयडरी, स्कल्पचर जैसे माध्यमों के द्वारा यह आदिवासी लोक कलाकार अपनी आस्था व विश्वास को साथ लेते हुए वैश्विक भौगोलिक परिवेश में हो रहे आमूलचूल परिवर्तन को भी बड़ी प्रखरता के सामने रख रहे हैं। इनकी रचनात्मकता में टोटम चिन्हों, मांडणा, रंगोली व प्रकृति के जादुई प्रभाव जैसे लोक व आदिवासी मुहावरे बड़ी मुखरता दिख रहे थे। जबकि इस कला दीर्घा में कुछ चित्र अपनी बारीक ज्यामितीय संरचना व अभिव्यक्ति के कारण भी तमाम कला चित्रों के बीच महत्वपूर्ण हस्तक्षेप करते हुए दिखे।
कलाप्रेमियों की प्रतिक्रियाओं पर बात करते हुए युवा कलाकार रफ़ीक़ शाह बताते हैं, “हाल के वर्षों में कला के प्रति दर्शकों में रुझान बढ़ा है और वे इन कलाकृतियों को ऊँची क़ीमतों पर भी खरीद रहे हैं। प्रकृति के कलाकारों की मेहनत को खुले दिल से सराहा जा रहा है और यह एक सुखद परिणाम है, जो भविष्य को लेकर हमें और अधिक आशान्वित करता है।”
