यतीन्द्र मिश्र की किताब ‘लता सुर गाथा’ पढ़ रहा था तो उसमें इस बात के ऊपर ध्यान गया कि इंकलाबी शायर हबीब जालिब जब 1976 में जेल में बंद थे तो वे लता मंगेशकर के गीत सुना करते थे. उन्होंने कहा है कि जेल में उनको जो रेडियो दिया जाता था उसके ऊपर वे रेडियो सीलोन लगाकर लता मंगेशकर के गीत सुना करते थे. और उस अँधेरी दुनिया में उन्हीं गीतों ने उनको जिन्दा रखा. बहरहाल, उन्होंने एक नज्म भी लता मंगेशकर के ऊपर लिखी थी. आज आपके लिए- मॉडरेटर

कुछ साल पहले मैंने भी स्वर-साम्राज्ञी की शान में यह कविता लिखी थी —
मधुर माधुरी ,दिव्य वाणी हो तुम
शुभे शारदे हो कल्याणी हो तुम ।
शिवालय में गुंजरित वन्दन के स्वर
प्रभाती पवन की सुशीतल लहर ।
विहंगों को कलरव तुम्ही से मिला ,
है निर्झर तुम्हारे सुरों में मुखर ।
सान्ध्य–मंगल की ज्योतित कहानी हो तुम
शुभे शारदे हो कल्याणी हो तुम ।
कोकिला विश्व-वन की ,तुम्हारी कुहू सुन ,
विहँस खिलखिलाता है सुरभित वसन्त ।
मधुप गुनगुनाते ,विकसते हैं पल्लव
तुम्हारे सुरों से ही जागे दिगन्त
ऋचा सामवेदी सुहानी हो तुम
शुभे शारदे कल्याणी हो तुम ।
हिमालय में गूँजे कोई बाँसुरी
कमल–कण्ठ से जो झरे माधुरी
क्षितिज पर ज्यों प्राची की पायल बजी
अलौकिक , दिशाओं में सरगम बजी ।
युगों को धरा की निशानी हो तुम ।
शुभे शारदे हो ,कल्याणी हो तुम ।
तुम्हारे सुरों से है करुणा सजल ।
तुम्हारे सुरों से ही लहरें चपल ।
प्रणय-ज्योत्स्ना की सरस स्मिता ,
समर्पणमयी भक्ति पावन अमल ।
हो आराधना शुचि , शिवानी हो तुम ।
शुभे शारदे कल्याणी हो तुम ।
