सुशांत सिंह राजपूत की ख़ुदकुशी की खबर आने के बाद से लोगों के रिएक्शंस हैरान कर देने वाले हैं। सबसे पहले इंसान ने सवाल किया यह उसकी पुरानी मैनेजर की मौत से जुड़ा हुआ तो नहीं है? दूसरे ने छूटते ही कहा अब सब कुछ तो था उसके पास फिर ऐसा करने की क्या जरूरत पड़ी? और इसके बाद तो जैसे गाड़ी ढलान पर बिना ब्रेक के लुढ़कने लगी। एक बानगी देखिये, “ऐसा करके यह लोग ट्रेंड बना देते हैं”, “किसी से बात क्यों नहीं की।” परिवार के बारे में सोचना चाहिए था।” इतना ही लोगों को तो उसके साथ हमदर्दी दिखाई जाने से भी परेशानी है। क्योंकि उसने लड़ाई नहीं की और जान दे दी। इन बातों को सुन कर पढ़ कर देख कर कान बजने लगते हैं और आँखों के आगे अँधेरा छा जाता है। वाकई अगर लोग ऐसी ही सोच वाले हैं तो इनके बीच रहने से बेहतर है इस महफ़िल से निकल ही लिया जाए।
बात की शुरुआत करते हैं कलाकार सुशांत सिंह राजपूत से। कभी मिलने का मौका नहीं मिला लेकिन इस इंसान की हिचकिचाहट भरी मुस्कान ने लोगों के दिलों को जीता। टीवी पर मानव को नहीं देखा लेकिन काई पो चे में ईशान ने अपनी अलग ही छाप छोड़ी। सुशांत को माही के रोल में देखा और असली माही याद ही नहीं आया, उसका ट्रैन स्टेशन का सीन आँखों के कोने नम करने के लिए काफी है। व्योमकेश बक्शी बना तो रजत कपूर वाला बोमकेश नहीं, बल्कि अपना अलग ही अंदाज़ दिखाया और केदारनाथ में मंसूर बन कर फिर साबित किया कि उसमें कितना दम है। फिल्में चलें न चलें कलाकार अपनी छाप छोड़ जाता है। और सुशांत इसमें हमेशा कामयाब थे।
क्या उनके साथ बॉलीवुड और बड़े प्रोडक्शन हाउस ने नाइंसाफी की? इस बात से सभी वाकिफ हैं कि हिंदी फिल्म इंडस्ट्री में जान पहचान और बड़े नामों का क्या असर होता है। क्या ऐसा पहली बार हुआ? बिलकुल नहीं… हमेशा से होता आया है, और एक दम से ऐसा होना बंद हो जाएगा ऐसी भोली उम्मीद किसी को भी नहीं है… सुनते हैं कि लता मंगेशकर और आशा भोंसले के दौर में कितनी ही महिला गायक गुमनामी में चली गयीं क्योंकि इनका इतना दबदबा था कि कोई भी इन्हें नाराज़ करके किसी और को गायक नहीं ले सकता था…
इंडस्ट्री के लोग सुशांत की मौत से सदमे में हैं और लगातार शोक सन्देश आ रहे हैं लेकिन उससे कहीं ज्यादा इंडस्ट्री से नाराज़ी के मैसेज आ रहे हैं कि इन लोगों ने सुशांत का ख्याल नहीं रखा। ख्याल तो हर इंसान को अपने आसपास वालों का भी रखना ही चाहिए और फिर सुशांत तो उनके अपने ही थे। अगर सोची समझी साजिश के चलते लोगों ने उनसे दूरी बनायीं तो उसकी असलियत भी उन्हें ही मालूम है और अगर ऐसा बस यूँ ही हो गया तो भी ऐसा पहली बार नहीं हुआ है।
फिल्म इंडस्ट्री की बात न भी हो तो भी ज़िन्दगी में कितने लोग होते हैं जो पीछे छूट जाते हैं, रास्ते अलग अलग हो जाते हैं और जहाँ सुबह और शामें एक साथ बीतती थीं वहाँ बरसों हो जाते हैं बात किये। क्या हम अपने आसपास के उन लोगों से खुल कर मिल पाते हैं? हर वह इंसान जो यह बोलता है कि मैं ठीक हूँ क्या वाकई में ठीक है इस बात को लेकर कितने लोग सोचते हैं? और क्या वाकई कोई सुनना भी चाहता है कि किसी को क्या कहना है? अगर कोई अपनी तकलीफ, परेशानी, मुसीबतें बताना शुरू भी करता है तो सुनने वाला सबसे पहले तो यह सोचता है कहाँ फंस गया, क्यों पूछा कुछ भी और फिर फटाफट उस बात को ख़तम करने की यूँ कोशिश करता है कि अगली बार यह बंदा किसी और को भी कुछ भी बोलने से पहले सौ बार सोचेगा …
सुशांत के बारे में लोग अपनी अपनी राय इस कदर दे रहे हैं जैसे वो उनके बहुत बड़े हितैषी हैं, लेकिन क्या यह लोग भी सुशांत किस तकलीफ में हैं जानते थे? और अगर जानते थे तो कुछ मदद क्यों नहीं की? ज़िंदा इंसान को यह एहसास दिलाना ज्यादा जरूरी है कि लोग उसे प्यार करते हैं, उसकी परवाह करते हैं। वरना जान चली गयी और अब अपना प्यार, अपनी परवाह किसको दिखाने के लिए पेश की जा रही है। यह दुःख का दिखावा किसके लिए? यह परवाह किसको दिखाने के लिए है? या सुशांत की मौत का सहारा लेकर अपने अपने निशाने साधे जा रहे हैं और हिसाब बराबर हो रहे हैं?
सुशांत को इंसान के तौर पर खबरों, इंटरव्यू और उनके सोशल मीडिया से ही जानने का मौका मिला। यह पता चलता है पढ़ने का शौक़ीन यह इंसान अंतरिक्ष और क्वांटम फिजिक्स का दीवाना था। अपने घर में उन्होंने ऐसी ऐसी अनोखी अजूबी चीज़ें जमा की हुई थीं जिन्हें पुराने से नया बनाया गया था। ऐसा कलाकार जो अपने किरदारों के पीछे अपनी हिचकिचाहट छुपाता था, ऐसा इंसान जो बहुत कुछ करना चाहता था न सिर्फ अपने लिए बल्कि दूसरों के लिए। उनकी दिलदारी के कई किस्से सामने आये हैं और एक झलक मिलती है कि फिल्में ही सब कुछ नहीं थीं उसके लिए।
इसलिए अब अंदर के उस सुशांत को देखने की कोशिश करें जो शर्मीला है, लेकिन बहुत कुछ हासिल करना चाहता है, कम उम्र में माँ को खो दिया और अकेले के दम पर अपना एक मुकाम बनाया। क्या यह मुमकिन है कि वह अंदर बहुत अकेला हो? बिलकुल मुमकिन है। अकेलापन, ज्यादा चिंता करना और डिप्रेशन ऐसे कई सारी सायकोलॉजिकल कंडिशंस हैं जो किसी को भी हो सकती हैं। न इसका सफलता से लेना देना है न ही इंसान की कमजोरी की निशानी है। जिन लोगों को ख़ुदकुशी करने वाले कमजोर लगते हैं, उन्हें यह जानने की जरूरत है कि ऐसा करने के लिए कई लोगों ने कई कई बार सोचा है बस हिम्मत ही जवाब दे गयी।
वो ३४ साल का लड़का कहीं से भी कमजोर नहीं था , उसने अपने बूते जितनी कोशिश की जा सकती थी सभी की। अगर कोई कैंसर का मरीज एक वक़्त के बाद इलाज न करवाना चाहे और बीमारी के सामने ज़िन्दगी रख दे तो उसे हम कमजोर कैसे कह सकते हैं? पूरी दुनिया में लम्बी बीमारी से जूझ रहे लोगों को इच्छा मृत्यु दिए जाने के पक्ष में आवाज़ें बुलंद हो रही हैं। क्योंकि यह उस इंसान का ही फैसला होना चाहिए कि बीमारी के साथ वह कितनी ज़िन्दगी चाहता है।
यहाँ हम ख़ुदकुशी की पैरवी बिलकुल नहीं कर रहे हैं। लेकिन यह कोशिश जरूर है कि जेहन की मुश्किलों को भी बीमारी की ही तरह से देखा जाए। ऊंची बिल्डिंग के सबसे ऊपर के माले पर खड़े होकर नीचे कूद जाने का ख्याल अगर आता भी है तो कदम पीछे हट जाते हैं लेकिन कई कई बार लोग पीछे नहीं हट पाते और बस उस एक पल में ज़िन्दगी हार जाती है। और ऐसे हादसे एक बार फिर मजबूर करते हैं कि हम अपने आसपास देखें कि कोई जो मुस्करा रहा है वो क्या ग़म छुपा रहा है? क्या पूछने से सुशांत बता देते? क्या पूछने से कोई भी बता ही देता है? लेकिन अगर उसे यह एहसास भी दिलाया जाए कि कोई वाकई सुनना चाहता है इतना भी काफी है। क्योंकि कभी कभी बस एक ऐसे की ही जरूरत होती है। कोशिश करें कि किसी ऐसे को अकेला न छोड़ें, जानबूझ कर तो बिलकुल भी नहीं। बाकी रिश्तों का मांझा बहुत उलझा हुआ है इतनी आसानी से नहीं सुलझता और अगर कोई सुलझा ना पाए तो कम से कम उसे कायर कमजोर तो न कहें।
