कुमाऊँ के नानकमत्ता पब्लिक स्कूल में 26 और 27 मार्च को फिल्म फ़ेस्टिवल का आयोजन किया गया था। उसकी रपट लिखी है स्कूल में ग्यारहवीं कक्षा की विद्यार्थी आँचल जोशी ने लिखी है। आप भी पढ़ सकते हैं-

26 और 27 मार्च को पहले नानकमत्ता फिल्म फेस्टिवल का आयोजन किया गया। दो दिवसीय उत्सव, जो 26 मार्च को दोपहर 1 बजे के आसपास शुरू हुआ और 27 मार्च को लगभग शाम 6:15 बजे समाप्त हुआ, NPS फिल्म क्लब द्वारा नानकमत्ता पब्लिक स्कूल और सिनेमा इन स्कूल की मदद से की गई एक पहल थी। कहा जाता है कि “सिनेमा समाज की एक छवि दर्शाता है।” यह उस समाज को दर्शाता है जिससे हम संबंधित हैं। पूरे फिल्म फेस्टिवल में इसी तरह की चीजें दिखाई गईं जो हम खुद और अपने आस पास समाज से जोड़ पाय।
पहली फिल्म से लेकर आखिरी फिल्म तक हमने समाज के अलग-अलग पहलुओं को देखा। फिल्म और फिल्म निर्माण के मामले में फिल्म के पाठ्यक्रम को स्कूल जैसी संस्था में एकीकृत करना एक कठिन काम है, एक्योंकि समाज ने पारंपरिक रूप से सिनेमा को केवल मनोरंजन का माध्यम माना है न कि सीखने सिखाने का। लेकिन एनपीएस परिवार के हिस्से के रूप में, हम सिनेमा को नई और अलग चीजें सीखने के एक उपकरण के रूप में देख रहे हैं। हमारा स्कूल फिल्म को सीखने-सिखाने का एक सशक्त माध्यम बताता है और हम लगातार सिनेमा देखते रहे हैं।
पिछले कुछ वर्षों में, हमने फिल्मों के आसपास एक व्यवहार विकसित किया है जहां हम न केवल फिल्में देखते हैं बल्कि उन पर चर्चा भी करते हैं। स्कूल नामक संस्था का एक भाग होते हुए, हम फिल्मों को एक नए लेंस के माध्यम से देखने की कोशिश करते हैं और सिनेफाइल्स बनने की तरफ़ अपने कदम बढ़ाते जाते हैं। सिनेफाइल्स बनने के इस सफर में “सिनेमा इन स्कूल” एक ऐसी पहल है जिसने हमें सिनेमा के प्रति गंभीर किया है। पिछले कुछ दिनों से स्कूल में लगातार पाठ्यक्रम से जुड़ी फिल्में दिखाई जा रही हैं और सिनेमा को बढ़ावा दिया जा रहा है। इस पहल के माध्यम से स्कूल में बच्चों ने “एनपीएस फिल्म क्लब” भी शुरू किया है।
एनपीएस फिल्म क्लब मुख्य रूप से बच्चों को सिनेमा के माध्यम से महत्वपूर्ण सोच विकसित करने में मदद करने और बेहतर समझ के लिए सिनेमा को उनके पाठ्यक्रम से जोड़ने पर केंद्रित है। इसके साथ, एनपीएस फिल्म क्लब का उद्देश्य छात्रों को न सिर्फ बॉलीवुड फिल्मों बल्कि अंतरराष्ट्रीय फिल्मों से रूबरू कराना और उन्हें बहुआयामी यानी मल्टीडाईमेन्सनल बनने में मदद करना है।
इस फिल्म महोत्सव के दौरान कक्षा तीसरी से 11वीं तक के छात्रों को लगभग 8-10 फिल्में दिखाई गईं और हर फिल्म के बाद परिचर्चा भी हुई। संजय जोशी जी, जिन्होंने इस प्रोग्राम का निर्देशन भी किया था, इस पहल में शामिल हुए। संजय जी लगातार सिनेमा के क्षेत्र से जुड़े हुए हैं और वे एक सिनेमा कार्यकर्ता हैं। उन्होंने सिनेमा और इस फिल्म फेस्टिवल से जुड़ी अपनी भावनाओं को व्यक्त करते हुए कहा, “मूल रूप से, ऑनलाइन माध्यमों के विकास के बाद, सभी ने अकेले सिनेमा देखना शुरू कर दिया है। इसीलिए सिनेमा इन स्कूल इंसानों को इंटरएक्टिव बनाए रखने पर ध्यान देता है न कि उन्हें रोबोट में रूपांतरित करने के लिए।” उन्होंने कहा, “श्रव्य-दृश्य सत्य है, लेकिन पूर्ण सत्य नहीं है। इसलिए जब हम फिल्म का प्रदर्शन कर रहे हों , तो यह सुनिश्चित किया जाना चाहिए कि फिल्म निर्माता के दृष्टिकोण को देखने के बजाय हमारे पास अलग-अलग दृष्टिकोण और विचार हों। फिल्म फेस्टिवल में, हम लोगों के बीच विचार साझा करने की आदत बनाने की भी कोशिश करते हैं और करनी भी चाहिए ।”
फिल्म फेस्टिवल के आयोजक कक्षा 8वीं से 11वीं तक के सभी स्कूली छात्र थे। वे स्क्रीनिंग के लिए फिल्मों का चयन करने, स्क्रीनिंग शेड्यूल बनाने, संभावित उपस्थित लोगों के लिए उत्सव को बढ़ावा देने, तकनीकी मुद्दों पर काम करने और उत्सव के सभी प्रबंधन के लिए जिम्मेदार थे। फिल्म फेस्टिवल में 8वीं क्लास में शामिल हुए सुभम जोशी कहते हैं, ‘लोगों का धैर्य साफ दिखाता है कि सिनेमा देखना किस हद तक मजेदार हो सकता है।’

इस कार्यक्रम में अतुल जी, जो एनपीएस फिल्म क्लब के प्रमुख चेहरे हैं और पहले फिल्म महोत्सव को सफल बनाने के लिए छात्रों का मार्गदर्शन और मदद कर रहे थे, कहते हैं, “एक समय था जब फिल्में देखना केवल एक मनोरंजन समझा जाता था। फिल्में मनोरंजन का माध्यम थी, लेकिन आज ऐसा नहीं है। अब मनोरंजन से परे जाकर सिनेमा भी हमारे बीच तार्किक बहस शुरू करने का माध्यम बनता जा रहा है। इसी कड़ी में नानकमत्ता पब्लिक स्कूल के छात्रों ने एक नया मंच ‘नानकमत्ता फिल्म फेस्टिवल’ तैयार किया जो कि ग्रामीण क्षेत्र के एक स्कूल के छात्रों द्वारा पहली बार कुछ ऐसा किया गया। इस तरह के प्रयासों को प्रोत्साहित किया जाना चाहिए क्योंकि इससे स्कूलों में छात्रों के बीच तर्कसंगत बहस की एक नई विश्वसनीयता बनेगी।”
एनपीएस के अकादमिक समन्वयक कमलेश जी ने कार्यक्रम की सफलता पर टिप्पणी करते हुए कहा कि “छात्रों के नेतृत्व वाली योजना और फिल्म महोत्सव का एग्जीक्यूशन शक्तिशाली था और यह स्टूडेंट की ओनरशिप का भी एक प्रदर्शन था । समूह में सीखना, अपने मन की बात साझा करना और दूसरों द्वारा साझा की गई बात को सुनना भी इस प्रक्रिया का हिस्सा था। तर्क और महत्वपूर्ण सोच कौशल का विकास भी साफ़ दिख रहा था।” आगे बढ़ते हुए कमलेश जी कहते हैं- “फ़िल्म फेस्टिवल में आए सभी स्कूली साथियों को एक नए तरह का स्कूल स्पेस जानने और देखने को भी मिला जहां वे प्रश्न पूछ सकते थे और फ़ीडबैक भी दे सकते थे। कुल मिलाकर, फिल्म महोत्सव बहुत हद तक सफल रहा और नानकमत्ता पब्लिक स्कूल के विचार के साथ संरेखित भी ।”
फिल्म फेस्टिवल सभी टीम के सदस्यों और उत्सव में उपस्थित लोगों के लिए एक रोमांचक, सीखने वाला , तलाशने वाला और यादगार अनुभव था।
